Noah at 4 months

Some days I say to myself "4 months, already?" and other times it more like "wow, time is going by pre-tty slow!"  The later comment usually happens on the non-napping, non-sleeping at night kind of days.  But whatever the kind of day, Noah is a lovable, snugly, happy little baby.  He is getting more alert and aware of his surroundings which makes him have more of a little personality.  He has found his hands and loves to put them in his mouth.  He also loves blowing bubbles and raspberries with his mouth.
We started feeding him oatmeal cereal a couple of weeks ago and this boy loves to eat!  He opens his mouth and eats his baby food like a champ.  I always said I wasn't going to take pictures of my kids all messy with food all over themselves...gross, who wants to see that?  Well, you can just add that to the long list of "you don't know until you have kids" list...

Tummy time has always been a problem (with both kids, actually) and flat heads is always the result...but we are trying our best to keep him off his back as much as possible.  He doesn't look too unhappy here does he?

Oh, and just in case you were wondering, he is still a big baby.  At his 4 month check up he weighed 16 lbs which put him in the 72nd percentile and he was 27 inches long which is the 96th percentile!

Back to school

Cami started back to school last week at a new preschool.  She goes 3 days a week from 9:00-2:00.  She is absolutely loving it!  After being at home all summer long, I think she would be happy wherever she went!  Here are some pictures of her first day of school...

I had this wonderful idea to take a picture of her on the way to school and then on the way home from school.  That way you could see how excited she was going to school vs how tired she was coming home from school.  Well, that didn't work out--she has the same enthusiasm in each picture!  She was way too wound up to be sleepy on the way home!
